Rising Star Scholarship Recipient: Reese Lizotte

We are proud to introduce Reese Lizotte as the 2025 Rising Star Scholarship recipient. From Beverly, Reese is a dedicated student at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School, maintaining an impressive 3.9 unweighted GPA of 4.0.

Beyond her academic achievements, Reese is deeply committed to giving back. She volunteers at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine, where she helps children undergoing cancer treatment enjoy a fun and memorable summer experience.

Reese has a passion for the outdoors and a strong interest in landscaping. She has gained hands-on experience working at Wolf Hill Garden Center and as a Grounds Keeper at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School.

Her journey has been defined by resilience and inspiration. Reese’s mother was first diagnosed with breast cancer when Reese was just five years old and faced a second diagnosis two years ago. Through these challenges, the unwavering support from her family and school community inspired her to pursue a career in environmental horticulture.

This fall, Reese will be attending the University of Massachusetts, Amherst to study horticulture. We wish her the very best in her academic and professional journey and look forward to seeing the beautiful landscapes she will create in the future.
