“I had the opportunity to attend ASTRO 2024 this year in Washington D.C. Every year a conference is held to help keep staff in the Radiation Oncology field up to date with the newest and greatest technological advances in our field. I was also able to network with many other professionals and learn more about new products in our field. With the new Burlington department to open in December 2024, I was able to work one on one with companies with products that will be available to our department. The machines at both Peabody and Burlington will get the new added features of HyperSight. This will allow us to treat patients on our treatment machines much quicker and with better quality imaging that would equate to an actual CT scan. Quicker treatment times means less time for the patient to be laying on the table and being uncomfortable. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to attend this conference this year. Your grant helped me to progress and grow in my career.”
